Building with Bamboo’s First Learning Update

We are delighted to announce the publication of Building with Bamboo’s first learning update!

This is the first of three updates in which we share the emerging learning from our first learning and innovation cycle (January – March 2017).

In this update, we provide a brief introduction to the project, our approach to ‘resilience’ and our learning approach.

We then present nine key insights which have been emerging through our work developing and trialing resilience-based approaches in Ecuador, Uganda and Nepal. These insights are supported by examples and quotes from our Resilience Champions.

In response to the emerging learning, each Resilience Champion has developed a small addition or adaptation to their approach which they will be piloting in the second learning and innovation cycle. In the final section of the learning update, we explain what these innovations are, why we are trying them out, and what we hope they will achieve.

The full learning update can be viewed here.

We would love to have your feedback. Please share your thoughts with us in the Building with Bamboo community!
