Building with Bamboo’s Second Learning Update

We are excited to announce the publication of the Building with Bamboo’s second Learning Update. We warmly invite you to have a look at it here

This is the second of three updates in which we present main highlights from the second learning and innovation cycle, and also, the process that Resilience Champions go through to refine and adapt their resilience-based approaches to promote resilience and increase well-being in street-connected children.

We also present 7 insights which have emerged while testing and refining the resilience-based approaches in Nepal, Uganda and Ecuador. Each insight is supported by a brief explanation and a quote from either Resilience Champions or children they work with.

Resilience champions have refined their innovation concepts, in response to the learnings from current cycle, for further testing during the learning and innovation cycle 3. The reasons why they have refined them and how is presented in the last part of the learning update.
