The Consortium for Street Children (CSC) is a global network that exists to give street children a voice, promote their rights and improve their lives. We do this through our focus on Advocacy, Research and Network Development.
We seek to be the leading international network dedicated to realising the rights of street children worldwide. We are continually expanding and currently have more than 80 member organisations working across more than 130 countries.
Our network comprises small NGOs delivering grassroots work in-country, large international NGOs, multilateral agencies, academics, corporates and individuals, as well as affiliated groups of street children.
By April 2017, CSC and our members will together have achieved a strong evidence-based UN General Comment on Children in Street Situations. This global platform will be a powerful new tool used by our members to conduct more effective local and international advocacy, campaigning, fundraising and research and to hold duty bearers to account in fulfilling the rights of young people who rely on the streets for their survival and/or development.
We believe that collaboratively we are Louder Together.
We invite applications for network membership from organisations whose work impacts – in whole or in part – on street-connected children.
